Grow Your Own - Microgreens Indoors

Join us for a FREE virtual Grow Your Own high elevation gardening workshop focusing on Growing Microgreens Indoors taught by Master Gardener, David Long. 

It's the perfect time to learn more about indoor gardening!  Enjoy instruction from an expert who will cover planting, harvesting, pest management, river/lake friendly gardening techniques, biology discussions, and information on the history of this group of food crops.

You MUST pre-register for the workshop by reserving a ticket below. If you are unable to attend a live workshop you can still register to purchase a growing kit.  The virtual workshop will be recorded and posted on this site to watch at a later time.  

In addition, a $10 microgreen growing kit is available for pick-up in Truckee, Tahoe City, or South Lake on the Saturday morning following the virtual class, 9am-11am.  Pay in advance to reserve your growing kit AND help support the future of the Grow Your Own Program. You’ll receive a reusable grow tray, soil, a couple types of seeds, and instructions.

Participants growing the microgreens will be sent a brief growing survey to help identify successful seed varieties.
